Terms & Conditions

These terms are the agreement between you and byself AI Limited for use of the byself application and website. Please read them before using the Service.

1.Agreement

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the byself desktop application and the byself.ae website (the "Service"), provided by byself AI Limited ("byself", "we", "us"). By downloading, accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2.The Service

byself is a desktop workspace that sends a single prompt to multiple third-party AI models and displays their answers side by side, with features including local session history, PDF export and per-model data-retention status. The Service depends on third-party AI providers, whose availability and models may change.

3.Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. For corporate accounts, the administrator is responsible for managing seats and members and for their use of the Service.

4.Credits, plans & payment

Individual users purchase credits and set a spend cap; credits are consumed as you use supported models. Corporate customers subscribe to a plan with a number of seats. Fees are payable through our payment provider. Unless required by law or stated otherwise at purchase, fees and consumed credits are non-refundable. We may change pricing prospectively, with notice for active subscriptions.

5.Bring-your-own-key (corporate)

Corporate customers may connect their own third-party provider key. If you do, you are responsible for that key, for your agreement with the provider, and for all usage and charges incurred through it. You must keep your key confidential and comply with the provider's terms.

6.Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• break any applicable law or regulation, or infringe anyone's rights;
• generate or distribute unlawful, harmful, abusive or infringing content;
• attempt to breach security, disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the Service or its providers;
• violate the usage policies of the underlying AI providers;
• resell or misrepresent the Service, or use it to build a competing service by extracting our software.

We may suspend or terminate access for breach of this section.

7.AI output

Answers are generated by third-party AI models and may be inaccurate, incomplete or outdated. byself does not verify or endorse model output, and output does not constitute professional, legal, financial, medical or other advice. You are responsible for evaluating output before relying on or acting on it.

8.Third-party providers

The Service routes requests to third-party AI providers and uses third-party services (such as payment processing and hosting). Their availability, models and terms are outside our control and may change or be discontinued.

9.Intellectual property

The byself application, website, branding and content are owned by byself AI Limited and protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service in line with these Terms. As between you and us, you retain your own prompts and content, subject to section 7 above.

10.Privacy

Our handling of information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

11.Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that model output will meet your requirements.

12.Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, byself will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the 12 months before the claim.

13.Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or where necessary to protect the Service or comply with law. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

14.Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the DIFC Courts, without prejudice to any mandatory rights you may have under applicable law.

15.Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted here with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
